Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra begin shooting for 'Badhaai Ho'

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has been carving a name for himself in the Bollywood film industry. The actor had two back-to-back hits last year with his films 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and 'Shubh Mangal Savdhaan'. And now it looks like this year the actor is all set to star in Junglee Pictures' 'Badhaai Ho'. The film will see him star opposite 'Dangal' fame actress Sanya Malhotra. The shooting for the film has begun today and Junglee Pictures took to their social media handles to announce it.

The film is a coming of age story with a tinge of romance and is directed by Amit Sharma. Sanya had earlier spoken about the film and stated, "I am really happy to be an actor first. Whenever anything interesting comes up, I want to try it out and play parts that excite me creatively, it won't be anything rigorous. Thankfully, I am not wrestling in this one." While Ayushmann had said, “I had a fantastic experience collaborating with Junglee Pictures for 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and working with them on 'Badhaai Ho' is going to be exciting. The story that Amit tells is typically Indian with dollops of quirky humour. I look forward to a family film that is both innovative and entertaining.”
