Ayushmann, Kriti and Rajkummar starrer ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ heads for a strong word of mouth boost

Set in the lands of Uttar Pradesh, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is an innocent film about a young girl Bitti Mishra who is free-spirited and confident. A rom-com that tells a sweet tale of a love triangle between Bitti Mishra (Kriti Sanon), Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar) and Chirag Dubey (Ayushmann), ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is translating quite well with the audience.

Written by ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari and directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film is a production of Junglee Pictures and BR Studios. Apart from the fact that the film has a rather refreshing pairing, the performances of all the three actors and the supporting cast have received appreciation in abundance.

‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ has managed to mint an estimated Rs 6.27 crore within two days at the Box Office. After having announced its arrival with a collection of Rs 2.42 crore on Friday, the film with the help of good word of mouth started picking up with the audiences. Day two saw a film growth of an estimated 59% growth with the collection of Rs 3.85 crore even as the film continues to head strong.

Just like its title, the film too is packed with sweet moments and has a rather new approach towards the storyline. This is the first time that Ayushmann, Kriti and Rajkummar will be seen in a film together. The film has managed to get appreciation in abundance from the critics as well as the audiences, making ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ this year’s “sabse swadisht aur parivarik film”.
