While it is too soon to say if things are going to be lenient for filmmakers post Pahlaj Nihalani’s replacement by Prasoon Joshi as the CBFC chairperson, there sure seem to be some hopeful signs. Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie ‘Baadshaho’, in spite of having many action scenes and a prolonged love-making sequence, has come out completely unscathed with a U/A certificate.

After a long time, with the exception of Anees Bazmee’s ‘Mubarakan’, a major movie has been certified as U/A with absolutely no cuts demanded. “You will never find Ajay associated with anything even remotely off colour,” said a source, adding that the CBFC feels that the film’s action and tender scenes were done in the spirit of “great fun”.

Also starring Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Vidyut Jammwal and Sanjay Mishra, the movie is all set to hit the theatres on 1st September.
