'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' script leaves Mira Kapoor impressed!

Shahid Kapoor has proved time and again that he's one of Bollywood's finest actors. With an impressive list of films in his kitty, some of which include, 'Haider', 'Kaminey' and 'Rangoon', the actor has proved just how versatile he can be. Recently, while speaking to a leading entertainment media portal, Shahid had revealed that he asks his wife Mira Rajput to go through his scripts and approve them.
Shahid has signed Shree Narayan Singh’s next, 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' which is a quirky satire with a social message. According to reports, the script left Mira impressed. A source close to them revealed, “Mira absolutely loved the Batti Gul script and after she read it, she told Shahid that this was the film for him. She believes in the script and Shahid, who also took a keen interest in the project then, immediately decided to sign it.” Well, this pair certainly knows what's best for them.
