Beyonce twins with daughter, Blue Ivy at the premiere of ‘The Lion King’

A live-action remake of the animated Disney original, ‘The Lion King’ is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie of this year. Last night, was the red carpet premiere for the film in LA. International star, Beyonce who lent her award-winning voice for the role of Nala graced the red carpet along with her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter in co-ordinated outfits, leaving the audience in awe and envy. The mother-daughter duo wore Alexander McQueen custom made tuxedo gowns. The gowns were layered with multi-layered crystal jewelry. While Beyonce’s number had an overzealous amount of silver embellishments, Blue Ivy’s number tread differently with minimal work on the shoulders but made up the lack of embellishments with a pair of sparkly buns.



Beyonce went steady with her signature sexiness by skipping the shirt and letting her statement-making ensemble grabbing all the eyeballs. The multi-layered accessories felt camp-ish but elevated the look up a notch nonetheless. We can’t pick favourites between matching, glittering earrings, statement necklace and diamond ring. For makeup, Beyonce chose glossy nude lips with dark kohl-rimmed eyes and texurised cornrows.

Although, a tad experimental, we’re in absolute awe of this look and the twinning moment between Beyonce and her daughter. What do you think about this look?
