BO Report: Shivaay picks up over the weekend

While both, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Shivaay' opened to a mixed response on Friday, it was Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' that went on to become a bigger talking point. While 'Shivaay' had an average opening, 'ADHM' became Karan Johar's biggest opener to date.
Both the films fared well on Monday, and it being an extended holiday weekend, there was a jump of about 35% in 'ADHM' collections, and about 70% rise in Shivaay's collection. Since their release, Karan Johar's directorial has earned over INR 51.75 crore nett in four days, and 'Shivaay' collected about INR 39.95 crore nett.
