Bollywood celebrities attend Rani Mukerji's father's prayer meet

Rani Mukerji's father Ram Mukerji recently passed away due to blood-pressure complications and the entire Bollywood film industry got together to pay their respects to the late veteran filmmaker. Amitabh Bachchan along with his wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and son Abhishek attended the prayer meet for Rani Mukerji’s father Ram Mukerji on Wednesday. Ram Mukerji was 84 and is survived by his daughter Rani, son Raja and wife Krishna Mukerji.
The prayer meeting was organised at the ISKCON Temple in Juhu, where Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Babita Shivdasani, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor also arrived to pay their respects. Ram Mukherjee was one of the founders of Filmalaya Studios in Mumbai. His most famous works are 'Hum Hindustani' and 'Leader'. He had launched Rani in the Bengali film 'Biyer Phool' (1996). The veteran filmmaker had also directed several movies such as 'Raktanadir Dhara', 'Tomar Rakte Amar Sohag', 'Raktalekha' and 'Ek Bar Mooskura Do' to name a few.
