Jhanvi Kapoor is going to make her debut in a Karan Johar film. Here is a statement from father Boney Kapoor that confirms the news.
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi , have become stars even before their big debut. The two already have many a followers on their social handles, and the media too can’t stop gushing about how beautiful they look. And it doesn’t end there, while one can’t stop talking about how beautiful the two are, what one also awaits is to see Jhanvi and Khushi make their debut on the 70mm screen.

Mills were abuzz with rumours of Jhanvi making her debut in Student Of Year 2, but there was nothing signed on the dotted lines. While it is known that Jhanvi was keen on an acting career, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were making sure she gets to make her debut in just the right film. Jhanvi has now signed a Karan Johar film, and it is the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat. Karan acquired the remake rights of the film, and Jhanvi has confirmed that she will be doing the film.

Her producer father, Boney Kapoor confirming the news to DNA said, “Yes, Karan has been talking to us about a film for Jhanvi and we’ve given consent. But we don’t know which project it would be. Since Karan has recently acquired the remake rights of Sairat it is being presumed that our daughter would be launched in this project.”

While Jhanvi has been groomed for over three years for making her Bollywood debut, it is not known yet as to who will be signed opposite her. The scripting of the film has already begun, and it is only by next year the film is slated to go on floors.
