BTS Just Dropped A Fresh New Album And Here Are All The Yummy Deets That You Should Know

It’s been only a few hours that our Korean boy band BTS officially dropped their new album-Map of the Soul:7 and it’s all the rage now on the web. Before the release of the much-anticipated album, Big Hit Entertainment had already provided some information about the songs, but let us tell you the songs sound even better than anyone could have thought. Worth the wait, Map of the Soul:7 has solos, sub-units, and songs featuring all seven members of BTS. ARMY are you listening?
The sophisticated music album is all about lavish cinematography combined with an energetic performance. It’s a total package of 20 songs, including the lead single ‘ON’ with two versions featuring Sia for the digital. The tracks feature 14 new songs like ‘Interlude: Shadow’, ‘Outro: Ego’, ‘Black Swan’ and more to keep you hooked. The album also includes six tracks from BTS’2019 EP Map of the Soul: Persona ( Intro: Persona, Boy with Luv ft. Halsey, Mikrosmos, Make It Right, Jamais Vu and Dionysus). However, the physical album only has 14 new songs and 5 previously released ones from the 2019 mini-album, Persona. The solo tracks, such as ‘filter’-showcasing a different Jimin, ‘My time’-highlighting Jungkook’s struggling from the bottom, ‘Moon’- an ode to the BTS army from Jin, and more. Imagine witnessing RM and Suga rapping together? Well, that’s also going to happen.
We are presuming the ‘7’ in the title can be referred to the band’s seventh studio album (Map of the Soul:7) or the seven members of the group (J-Hope, RM, Jin,V, Junhkook,Suga and Jimin), or even can reflect the seven years of the band’s togetherness.
