The Censor Board has given its verdict to Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming movie ‘Bhoomi’ and have demanded overall 12 cuts. Sunny Leone’s song has been trimmed to such an extent that viewers will get to see nothing more than what they have already seen of it on television. Not just this, Aditi Rao Hydari’s rape scene has been trimmed as well.

Words like saali, Asaram, ganda pani, a courtroom kissing scene and some dialogues have been asked to be replaced. Not at all surprised by the CBFC’s demands, the film’s director Omung Kumar asserted, “I knew this was going to happen. It is a sensitive subject, so we have gone ahead and done the needful.’’ He added, “There were some scenes where blood is seen. I have done films like ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Sarabjit’, so I was prepared for it.”

Marking Sanjay Dutt’s comeback on the silver screen after his prison sentence, ‘Bhoomi’ will hit the theatres on 22nd September.
