Charlize Theron reveals that her mother, Gerda, is now also her medical marijuana supplier!

Charlize Theron recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's talk-show and she had the most adorable story to tell. And yes, it involved her mother, Gerda. The Oscar winner revealed that her mother Gerda was also her medical marijuana supplier! “I have really bad sleep and so does my mom. We were talking about it, because we do take sleep medication and I was saying to her, ‘Maybe we should try a sleeping strain, something that could help us with sleep.’ And she’s like, ‘Yes, yes,’ ” the 42-year-old actress recalled.
"I really thought I would be the responsible one to have to go and get (the marijuana). Last week she showed up at my house — literally drove in her little tennis outfit and brought me a little container and just left it on my kitchen table,” she said. “And she was like, ‘So, I got some blueberry-covered chocolate ones, but if you want it faster-acting, you should go for the mint, because those you suck, and it works faster'," she continued. "I assumed because she was in the tennis outfit that she had scored with a young tennis friend because she plays tennis with these really cool young girls,” added Theron. But, her assumption was so wrong!
“She goes, ‘Pfft! I went to the store by myself,'” Theron said. “I have this image of her in the store — like, she’s just not this kind of person and buying marijuana … and she was like, ‘And they tried to give me all sorts of lollipops!’ She had like, a full experience," added the actress. Theron said of the sleeping strain they tried, “It worked! It was amazing. Incredible.”
