The on-going lockdown period due to the coronavirus has made us take up hobbies while we are stuck in our homes. From exercising at home to learning new things every day, many of us including the B-town stars are trying their hands-on cooking. Similarly, actress, Shruti Haasan is making most of her homestay by cooking up a storm almost every day. For instance, check out her Instagram handle! Recently, the actress has whipped up an easy egg recipe along with other yummy dishes. Here are all the ingredients and steps that you need to ace the “easiest oven omelet.”

Shruti’s baked omelet recipe included ingredients, like chopped button mushrooms, tomatoes, green chillis, spring onions, butter, salt, dry rosemary, almond milk, 6 eggs, and a handful of cheese spread for the taste.


Begin by adding butter to a pan. Drop in chopped green chilies, dry rosemary herb and diced spring onions. Mix mushrooms and tomatoes to sauté for a few minutes. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs with some tablespoons of almond milk and cheese spread. Now add the sauté mixture and combine well.

Grease the baking tray with some butter and pour in the mixture. Put the tray in a pre-heated oven of 120-degree Celcius for ten minutes. When done, let it cool and cut it into desired shapes. You may top it with some chopped parsley and tada! Your easy-peasy baked omelet is ready!
