Confirmed: Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’ to hit cinemas the same day as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavat’

Much was spoken about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavat’. Several political parties tried to create an issue, by sending death threats to Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Finally, the date has arrived and the movie will release on 25th January 2018. After the CBFC approved the film with 5 modifications in the same. An official announcement from the makers is expected soon.


Now it is said to clash with ‘PadMan’ which is also going to release on the same date 25th January 2018. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles.


The producer of ‘PadMan’ Prerna Arora had said earlier, “I am clueless what is happening... with the clash. I have no idea about it. Even we have heard about it. All we know is ‘PadMan’ is releasing on January 25. Akshay announced it officially. ‘Padmavat’ is a very important film. It’s a beautiful film and it should release soon. I am also looking forward to see it. It depends on the makers of the film and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions to decide on the date.”


It is now confirmed that both the films ‘PadMan’ and ‘Padmavat’ is going to clash at the box-office on 25th January 2018.
