CONFIRMED! Huma Qureshi to star opposite Rajinikanth in a Tamil project

After romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and Radhika Apte, superstar Rajinikanth is all set to romance actress Huma Qureshi in an untitled action-romance Tamil project. Rajinikanth during an interaction with his fans confirmed that he will soon begin shooting for his next with Pa Ranjith.
Confirming Huma's role in the film, a source close to a leading tabloid revealed, "The makers were looking for someone with a strong screen presence as it's a performance-oriented role. Huma will play Rajinikanth's love interest. She is really excited. They start shooting in Mumbai from May 28 and Huma will start prep soon." The film is produced by Rajinikanth's son-in-law Dhanush.
Apart from this, Huma's next releases include Gurinder Chadha's 'Viceroy's House' and 'Dobaara: See Your Evil', in which she will share screen space with her brother Saqib Saleem.
