Whether Ranveer Singh or Arjun Kapoor, it was a long unsolved mystery as to who would play the legendary former Indian cricket captain Kapil dev in his biopic on screen. And if reports are to be believed, it is the ‘Padmavati’ actor who has made the cut!
Yes, it will be the charismatic Ranveer Singh who will bring to life on the silver screen the former Indian skipper’s glorious journey to India’s historic victory in the 1983 ICC cricket world cup. It was the first time India lifted the trophy and remains till date one of the most iconic moments in the history of Indian cricket.
