CONFIRMED! Sonam Kapoor to star in Akshay Kumar’s Padman

Twinkle Khanna’s debut production, ‘Padman’ has found its leading lady! According to Sonam Kapoor’s recent Instagram post, the actress is all set to be a part of R Balki’s directorial, ‘Padman’ starring Akshay Kumar.

Sonam shared the movie’s poster and captioned it as, “Thrilled to be a part of this prestigious project. #rbalki @akshaykumar @missfunnybones @radhikaofficial #padman.”

To be directed by R Balki, ‘Padman’ is based on the real-life story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the inventor of a low-cost sanitary pad making machine.

While the release date of the film has not yet been decided, the plot has certainly got us intrigued!
