CONFIRMED: Taapsee Pannu in talks for ‘Judwaa 2’!

Since the time of its announcement, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the sequel of ‘Judwaa’, ‘Judwaa 2’. Earlier there were reports that Alia Bhatt has been signed opposite Varun Dhawan in the titular role for the remake. However, Varun took to Twitter to clarify the claim and said that proper announcement will be made regarding the casting of the film once everything is finalised.

However, according to the insider sources, Taapsee Pannu has been approached for the lead role opposite Varun. Taapsee, who is riding high off the success of Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Pink’, has been offered the part, but the conversation is ongoing. The source in an exclusive conversation with MissKyra.com said, “Nothing is official as of yet. Taapsee has been offered the role, and is in talks with the production house.”

Well, it would be great to see Taapsee return to the comedy genre after her debut with ‘Chashme Badoor’. Taapsee has garnered much appreciation for her portrayal of Minal in her outing on the silver screen, ‘Pink’.

‘Judwaa 2’ will be directed by director David Dhawan, and will have Salman Khan make a special appearance in the film. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Grandsons, ‘Judwaa 2’ will go on floors next year.
