Deepika Padukone has been in the news for ‘Padmavati’ controversy and the death threats that she received from various groups. She has been getting trolled for several reasons on the social media.
Deepika’s stylist Shaleena Nathani shared her look for an event on social media, in which she is seen wearing a golden blingy ballon-sleeve gown. While some liked Deepika's outfit and appearance, most of the fans were disappointed. Strong reactions poured in from DP's fans, who outrightly rejected the outfit. They found the dress to be too odd, and even slammed the stylist for "making her look ugly". Many of them pleaded Shaleena to just stop choosing her outfits, and some others questioned her intentions asking, "why are you doing this to her?" Some of the comments stated that Deepika is extremely gorgeous, but her choice of outfits lately has been disastrous. Some of her fans even said that Deepika was looking tired.

Her choice to wear a green Banarasi sari with golden zari work paired with a parrot green puff-sleeved blouse had disappointed her fans. The actress was strongly trolled for her recent photoshoot, which some rudely termed it as "potty shoot".
