Deepika Padukone says she doesn’t like to talk about a film unless she is absolutely sure about doing it

Post her Hollywood debut with ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ alongside Vin Diesel, Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has begun shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’. The actress has also admitted that ‘Padmavati’ is, by far, the most challenging film of her career and she is determined to do justice to her role.

The actress has recently been associated with various upcoming Bollywood projects. However, recently in an interview with a leading daily, Dippy clarified that there’s hardly any truth in such reports. When asked if such rumours affect her, the ‘Piku’ actress asserted, “Let me put it this way: it’s disappointing when it’s untrue and especially, if it comes out in a way that’s absolutely contrary to what might be the actual case. But it’s not my place to sit and talk about what happened and why.”

While there have been reports about Deepika sharing the screen with Katrina Kaif for the first time in Aanand L Rai’s next, the actress says it is too soon to comment on it, “I personally don’t like to talk about a film until I know I am doing it. So, right now, I can’t say what I am doing.”

She further spoke about how there are certain unsaid codes with which actors, directors and writers collaborate for a film and, many a times, things may fail to work out. “But I am not the one to speak of a film if I am not doing it for whatever reasons,” added Deepika.

Starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor alongside Deepika Padukone, ‘Padmavati’ the film is scheduled to release in the latter half of 2017.
