Details of Aamir Khan's Rakesh Sharma biopic revealed!

Recently there were reports that Aamir Khan has signed on to do another biopic after playing Mahavir Singh Phogat in 'Dangal'. Tentatively titled 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha' Aamir be playing the part of the Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma in the film. However, Aamir is not only on-board as the lead but will also be producing the project under the Aamir Khan Productions Pvt Limited banner.

A source close to the development revealed, “Aamir is not just acting in this film, he is also going to produce the movie under his banner. While Ronnie Screwala’s company RSVP was to originally produce the film, now they will just be presenting the movie."

The source further added, “Aamir has big plans in his mind for the movie and is taking a keen interest in every aspect of this film including the casting." Mahesh Mathai's 'Saare Jahan Se Achcha' was in the making for almost eight years.

Aamir Khan has started prepping to the part and will begin shooting for the same after he wraps Vijay Krishna Acharya's 'Thugs of Hindostan'. Aamir Khan is currently shooting in Malta for 'Thugs of Hindostan' along with Amitabh Bachchan and his 'Dangal' co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh. 'Thugs of Hindostan' marks the second collaboration between 'Dhoom 3' director Vijay Krishna Acharya, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif.
