Dia Mirza: Ranbir Kapoor's popularity and respect will increase after Sanjay Dutt biopic

Dia Mirza, who is all set to play Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata Dutt in the Dutt biopic, is all praises for co-star Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir will be stepping in Sanjay's shoes to depict the many phases in the actor's life.

Recently, one of Ranbir's look for the biopic was leaked on the internet, and Dia was not too happy about the same. Talking about the leaked images, Dia said, "You should not have seen that look. It was leaked by the media... I will admit it was upsetting that the look was out as we were saving the look to reveal much later. We are enthused with the response from the public but we wish the media had respected the privacy of the film and not revealed the look."

Dia is all praises about Ranbir as she talks about her experience of working with the actor. Dia said, "Ranbir is amazing and there are no two ways about it. There has been learning curve working with him. He is supremely talented and down to earth person and it was sheer joy and privilege watching him work."

She further adds, "Also Ranbir Kapoor has one of the finest temperaments I have ever worked with and I am sure after releasing the film, his popularity, and respect as an actor will increase ten folds."

Dia is tight-lipped about the film and doesn't want to reveal much on Sanjay's biopic. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, and Vicky Kaushal.
