Did Priyanka Chopra help sister Meera bag a Canadian fantasy drama?

Priyanka Chopra is currently riding high on success as she shoots for the second season of her TV series 'Quantico', and her Hollywood debut film 'Baywatch' will soon hit theatres in May. She is now globally known even as she manages to dabble between the two industries. Not only has she made herself known for her acting skills, but is now also producing regional films along with her mother, Madhu Chopra.

PeeCee is sure a person one looks up to, and so her cousin Parineeti Chopra and Meera Chopra too followed her footsteps into the glamour world. While Parineeti managed to make her mark, Meera who last starred in '1920 London' didn't quite manage to leave a mark. However, reports in a leading suggest that Priyanka has come to Meera's rescue and helped her bag a Canadian project.

A source revealed to the leading daily, "They (Priyanka and Meera) spent quality time together. Meera spoke to Priyanka about her recent projects. PeeCee helped her meet a top casting official at the CTV Television Network. Meera has bagged a part in a Canadian fantasy drama series. She will start shooting soon." Talking about Meera's role, the source further added, "Though the length of her part in Canadian project is yet to be decided, she will play a strong role in it."

A report in the daily further suggests that Meera will soon fly to Canada to learn two new languages, and is simultaneously is also in talks with PeeCee's production house for a South film. Meera will be busy dabbling between India and Canada because of these two projects.
