Did Sara Ali Khan lose her big Bollywood break to Janhvi Kapoor?

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh‘s daughter Sara Ali Khan’s much-anticipated Bollywood debut has been in the news for quite a while now. Karan Johar, who also happens to be a very close friend of Kareena Kapoor Khan, was keen on launching Sara and even offered her one of the lead roles in his ‘Student of the Year 2’. However, as per reports, Amrita turned down the role for her daughter as she did not want her to debut in a two-heroine project.
Other reports say that Sara is now making her debut in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Karan Johar’s big film has now been offered to Sridevi’ daughter Janhvi Kapoor. According to trade pundits, this is a huge loss for Sara as Karan is known for launching big names like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, while Ekta has never launched a big name in the industry.
They further feel this indeed a gain for Janhvi as two big films like the Hindi remake of ‘Sairat’ and ‘Student of the Year 2’ might now land in her kitty.
