Diljit Dosanjh to romance Taapsee Pannu in Shaad Ali's upcoming film

Diljit Dosanjh who has recently started his career in Bollywood has been making the headlines for his upcoming project which is supposedly based on the story of Sandeep Singh, the ex-captain and coveted hockey player of India. The filmmakers recently revealed that the female lead will be played by Taapsee Pannu. This is the first time that the two actors will share screen space.

The film that is set to be directed by Shaad Ali will explore an important chapter in Sandeep's life. Apparently, the film will center around a love story between two hockey players. While the actors have to commence shooting for the film in October, they will first have to undergo intensive training so as to perfect their roles as hockey players.

While Taapsee is busy gearing up for the release of her movie 'Judwaa 2', Diljit will begin working on a project with Sonakshi Sinha.
