Director Rajkumar Santoshi in stable condition after getting operated

After later veteran actress Sridevi's funeral on Wednesday, people got another shock when director Rajkumar Santoshi was rushed to the hospital. The 'Andaz Apna Apna' director was rushed to Nanavati hospital after he complained of severe chest pain. He was then admitted to the ICU. Now, as per latest reports, his condition is stable after doctors performed angioplasty on him. And he seems to be recovering well after the operation. On the work front, Rajkumar had recently announced that he was collaborating with Aanand L Rai for a film.
Apart from the cult film 'Andaz Apna Apna', Rajkumar is well known for helming films like 'Ghayal' (1990), 'Damini' (1993), 'Ghatak' (1996), 'Pukar' (2000), 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh' (2002) and 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' (2013) among many others. For his film 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh', he had even won a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. Well, we wish a speedy recovery to the director. Stay tuned for more updates.
