Does Salman Khan want to go with low-key publicity for 'Tiger Zinda Hai'?

While posters of 'Tiger Zinda Hai' received much love from Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif fans as did their song 'Swag Se Swagat' , rumour has it that Salman wants to go low-key with the publicity of his upcoming film. Salman did rigorous promotions of his last few films and sources now say that he will go nice and slow with promotions of his upcoming next.

A source close to the film said, "Aditya Chopra wants Salman to go all-out with the promotion of 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. They have had no massive hit before or after 'Sultan' for a very long time. They feel 'Tiger' is a potential blockbuster. On the other hand, Salman believes that too much publicity doesn’t help.” Reports also suggest that Aditya and Salman had a long discussion about this and the actor shot down the filmmakers idea of a big promotional strategy. “Salman rightly argued that the intense publicity and promotion for his last release 'Tubelight' did not help the film at all. In fact, Salman feels too much publicity damaged the film’s prospects. As far as 'Tiger' is concerned, people already know about it through 'Ek Tha Tiger'. So why pitch the sequel so hard in the public’s face?”, the source said.

We're not sure yet if Aditya Chopra is convinced with Salman however, as of now they will have no choice but to go with Salman's low-key strategy.
