Ed Sheeran: I would love to do something in Bollywood

Ed Sheeran gave us Indians a rather memorable evening as he took to the stage in Mumbai bringing his Divide tour to India. Donning a light blue kurta that read ‘Divide' written in Hindi as well as Team India's jersey, Ed looked at ease as he entertained the audience with hits like 'Shape of You' and 'Perfect'. And in an interview with a leading daily, Ed opened up about his dreams of working in Bollywood. Read on to know more...
"I have seen Bollywood films such as '2 States'," he said. He added, " I heard some songs and seen some actors. I would love to do something in Bollywood... maybe with Shah Rukh Khan. It will be something in their (Bollywood) style." The singer also spoke up on the fact why Indians love his music. He said, "I wonder why people are interested in my music when there is so much good music here as well. In England, there is so much great English music so why would they like to hear anything else? Similarly, there is so much great Hindi music here, so I wonder why would they like to hear anything else."
Ed was given a true Indian welcome before his concert as also a party by Farah Khan Kunder who hosted a roof-top bash for the singer. She even got Ed to shake a Bollywood leg or two!
