Ekta Kapoor shuts reports of backing out from ‘Veere Di Wedding’

There were several reports about Ekta Kapoor opting out as the co-producer of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer 'Veere Di Wedding'. In an interview with a leading tabloid, Ekta stated, "At this moment, I don't even know if I am investing in 'Veere...' or any other movie. As a producer, I have decided to only invest in films that will pull the audience out of their homes to the theatres. Rs 200 is a lot of money to demand [for tickets]. The content has to be bang on to bring in the bucks."

However, Ekta took to her Instagram and shut these rumours. She announced that Balaji Motion Pictures is on board with 'Veere Di Wedding' and will be producing the film.
