EXCLUSIVE! Deepika Padukone compares Vin Diesel to Shah Rukh Khan

'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' starcast, Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone and director DJ Caruso were recently in Mumbai for the Indian premiere of their film. 'xXx' marks the debut of Deepika's Hollywood career. Talking to us about her Hollywood debut, Deepika said, "I don’t know if I can entirely sum that up. But I think for me just the fact that Vin has been so generous and so warm and welcoming has really given me the confidence to do what I did."
Comparing her Hollywood debut to her Bollywood debut, the actress said, "I felt the same way about Shah Rukh Khan when I debuted ten years ago with 'Om Shanti Om'. And then I came across this amazing person like Vin, who is just all there. It is not a bond of friendship that is work related, I know that he will always be there for me."
Reciprocating the love, Vin was all praises for his co-star. Talking about his equation with Deepika, Vin said, "It’s clearly a new relationship and I am so blessed to have it and working with her was incredible and effortless. It’s a great thing when you feel like you have a loyal partner in making magic because, in the same way, she talks about being comfortable, I felt comfortable. I knew that this girl had my back all the way without fail, not even a question. And when you have that established, you are free to really make magic. And a magic that I hope you all enjoy when you see the film."
