Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer 'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz', which was denied certification by Pahlaj Nihalani led CBFC, has now been passed with 8 minor, voluntary cuts by FCAT. The 48 cuts demanded by CBFC included removal of abusive words like ‘C*******a’, ‘B*******e’ and a bunch of sentences that include words like 'Khada' and trimming of the ‘humping’ scenes by least 80 per cent.

Talking about the cuts demanded, director Kushan Nandy said, "First and foremost, we don’t have humping scenes. They are love-making scenes. I am shocked and appalled with what has happened. If you notice the cuts, there’s a sentence, ‘Yeh kaahe ka c******a hai.’ We use such sentences in our everyday life. The excuse given to us is that children also sneak into cinema halls to watch adult films. How is that my problem? Penalise the cinema halls for this, not the producers. The way they have dealt with our film is insulting. They humiliated Kiran which is unpardonable."

Following FCAT's decision director Kushan Nandy and actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to Twitter to express their excitement!

Directed by Kushan Nandy and starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bidita Bag, 'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz' is all set to release on August 25.
