Golden Ratio Films is keen towards putting a firm foot in the Indian entertainment markets more after their recent success story – Dhanush starrer Hollywood movie “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir”. This movie released on 21st June 2019 in India after gathering extremely positive responses from the audience worldwide. The movie has been co-produced and presented by Golden Ratio Films and has been released in India, USA, Canada, Singapore and Malaysia recently.

Golden Ratio Films have a plethora of films under production and pre-production stages that includes a historical war epic, a sports crime drama and a real-life covert operation thriller which will be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Additionally, GRF has a slate of films which are ready to release in the coming months like an untitled investigative thriller with Abhay Deol and Pankaj Kapur, Bhonsle starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sehar with Pankaj Kapur.

GRF is a part of Vistas Media Capital, a Singapore based, fully integrated, content, media and entertainment investment holding company. VMC’s other successful initiatives includes the recently held CCFA and CCSFA (Critics Choice Film Awards and Critics Choice Short Film awards), the annually held Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.SAIFF) which is in its 3rd year and Diquery Digital LLP, a digital media and marketing company for top brands across different verticals.

GRF’s another critically acclaimed film Nakkash has been released earlier this year and it’s a major success story for the production house. The plan looks quite simple for GRF – take a universally appealing storyline, add some power-packed performances and clearly an over the top budget is NOT required. Such key strategies have helped GRF find a sturdy foothold in the movie industry.

GRF is also launching soon, a blockchain based, equity crowd funding platform which will be based on a unique model; To Socially Own and Watch Entertainment.

With Cyber Squad, a web-series produced for ALT Balaji, GRF has already ventured into the digital space with The Artist, a musical crime thriller in Hindi, in offering.

GRF is also diversifying into the Tamil cinema industry, with Maadathy set to release this year and Savukku, a web series, that is currently in pre- production phase. Furthermore, GRF is also working on a slate of 5 Tamil films.
