'Good News': Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar kickstart shooting for the film

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar are all set to share screen space once again after a long time in Raj Mehta's 'Good News'. The duo is all set to work together after a span of 10 years and so they very creatively used the trending #10yearchallenge to announce that they have begun shooting for the film. On Wednesday, Akshay took to his Instagram handle to post a picture that had a before and after look to it. On the top, we can see a still of the two actors from their last film 'Kambakkht Ishq' and on the bottom we can see the two stars posing with each other on the sets of 'Good News'.



Akshay wrote, "2009 to 2019, the Good News is that not much has changed, or so we hope. First day of shoot it is, do send in your best wishes." Check out the post below:





The two stars have worked together in quite a few films before including 'Ajnabee', 'Aitraaz', 'Tashaan', 'Dosti' and 'Bewafaa'. The actress even had an extended cameo in Akshay's 2015 release 'Gabbar Is Back'. Well, we for one can't wait to watch the duo weave their magic onscreen again.



The film revolves around a married Punjabi couple who are trying to have a baby. It also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The duo plays a married couple in the film. 'Good News' had gone on floors in November last year and Akshay and Kareena are all set to join in now. Produced by Karan Johar's banner, the film is all set to hit the big screens on September 6 this year.
