Grammy Awards 2018: Legendary singer Elton John will be paid a tribute to

Legendary singer and sensation Elton John will be honoured in a big way at the upcoming Grammy Awards. There will be a tribute concert by CBS, the Recording Academy and AEG Ehrlich Ventures who have announced that they will present 'Elton John: I'm Still Standing' at the Madison Square Garden on the 30th of January, which will later broadcast in 2018.

The all-star tribute concert line-up will include Miley Cyrus, Kesha, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, and Little Big Town, among others. John will also perform at the concert, playing a selection of hits from throughout his career. “Sir Elton John is an international music legend who has captivated audiences across generations for more than five decades,” said Neil Portnow, President and CEO of the Recording Academy. He added, “His creativity, dynamic presence and melodic virtuosity have positioned him as a cultural icon, and the Recording Academy is pleased to honour his immeasurable contributions to the music community.”

The concert will be staged two days after the 60th annual Grammy Awards. Others to appear at the concert will include the likes of Chris Martin, Sam Smith and Keith Urban, with additional performers to be announced. Sounds like one major line-up, doesn't it?
