Here’s how the makers of ‘Forrest Gump’ agreed for the Hindi remake of the film starring Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan is known to bring something new to the table with every film that he opts for. And now the actor is all set to act in his next film which was announced on his birthday. The film is said to be the official remake of 1994 cult film ‘Forrest Gump’ and Aamir will be seen essaying the lead role that was played by Tom Hanks.This happens to be the first time that a cult Hollywood film is being remade officially. Even though multiple filmmakers had approached the original makers of the film to buy the rights to the film, the latter had refused stating that they would only agree to this if Aamir Khan agreed to do the film. Keeping in mind the quality of content Aamir brings to his films, the makers were adamant on casting him.Aamir then met the original makers of the film to finalise the deal. Since Aamir is known to make films in a very methodical way, he decided to do this one with immense perfection as well. In fact, it took Aamir five years to finalise the deal and now he’s leaving no stone unturned in turning this film into one of the best films to be made.On Aamir Khan’s birthday, the actor announced his upcoming film, ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ as his next which has already been creating the buzz as one of the most awaited projects and is set to release on Christmas, the next year 2020.
