Filmmaker Umesh Shukla’s upcoming movie ‘102 Not Out’ features Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor as a father-son Jodi. In the movie Amitabh plays a 102 year old man who is determined to break the current world record of longevity, and Rishi plays his 75 year old son.

The two actors underwent extensive rehearsals in order to to get comfortable with one another as the father-and-son duo, master the body language and speech patterns of the peculiar and ageing parent-child pair as Umesh wanted to keep prosthetic to bare minimum. Talking about the film, the filmmaker revealed, “In the film, there is a man in China who is 118 years old, and Amitji’s character wants to break his record as the oldest living man, and live to be 120 years of age.”

He further added, “Just like the film 'OMG — Oh My God!’, ‘102 Not Out’ is also based on a very successful Gujarati play. I guess my connection with theatre refuses to die.” The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on 1st December and will clash with Vidya Balan's 'Tumhari Sulu'.
