Kabir Khan's 'Tubelight' starring Salman Khan was a much anticipated Eid release this year. However, the film failed to stand up to the expectations of the masses and didn't quite manage to do well at the Box Office. While the film was sold at a whopping price, 'Tubelight' not meeting expectations at the Box Office caused the distributors a humongous loss.

While the film neither managed to impress the critics nor managed to win over Salman fans, the actor decided to compensate for the losses incurred by the distributors due to the film's failure. A recent report in a leading online portal suggests that Salman is planning to pay back to the distributors for the losses they faced. The report further suggests that the distributors are planning to meet Salman's father Salim Khan to look for a way forward.

A source close to the portal revealed, "Distributors will meet Salim Khan today to discuss the matter. Salim Saab and Salman are contemplating returning nearly Rs 50-55 crore to them so that they don’t bear the brunt much."
