Deepika Padukone is all busy promoting her upcoming film 'Padmavati' and while we bet she has a lot on her plate right now, Deepika has confirmed her presence in Amaravati on the 19th of November to receive an award being bestowed upon her by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, which is organising the Social Media Awards to promote tourism in the state.
According to a source, Deepika is set to receive the award of ‘Most popular Indian actress on social media’ and even Amitabh Bachchan is set to receive an award for ‘Most popular Indian on social media’. The source added, “The actress has confirmed that she will come to Amaravati to receive the award." However, Amitabh Bachchan is still to confirm his presence to collect the award.
Among the other stars receiving an award, Rana Daggubati has been awarded the ‘Most active South Indian actor’ while music director Anirudh will get the ‘Most sensational on social media’ award. Many south stars will be present at the award function and there are nearly 30 awards to be given out to different people who are active on social media.
