Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's yet-to-be-released film by Shoojit Sircar titled 'Shoebite' has been caught up in a legal battle between two production houses. The film has yet not been able to see the light of day and Amitabh has now made an appeal to the makers of the film. The appeal came two days after a fan tweeted to Big B about the film. The fan wrote, "Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Shoebite’ (Johnny Mastana) We want this movie to be released ~ Please do something, I’m sure that with a little effort it can happen.”

Responding to this tweet, Amitabh too took to his Twitter account to tell both the production houses to set their differences aside and let the film release. Here's what he tweeted:

Talking about the film, Shoojit said, "Earlier the two production houses were separate entities but they are under one umbrella.. they should absolutely do it (release the film). Mr Bachchan and I have been pleading.. I think Ronnie Screwwala should come forward and resolve it for us as he was the producer and the presenter of the film.” He further added, “Also I am also ready to sell my home and pay them to release the film.. purely for Mr. Bachchan, my crew and technicians.” Well, we wonder if the film will see the light of day anytime soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
