Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ has gone through a lot of trouble and threats but the whole team was quiet and didn’t express their opinion in the open, now the movie has released successfully and has also become a hit film as well. Everyone is now talking about the whole experience and now actress Deepika Padukone has expressed her feelings.

The actress said she would like to be part of ‘Padmaavat 2’ if it is ever made, “It’s important to make and create and express.” She also responded to the death threats and bounty that was put on her nose and jokingly said, “You can take my feet. I like my nose.”

When asked that she was paid more than her co-star in the film, she said, “I think I deserve it. It’s not about deserving more than somebody else, it’s about deserving what I think is right about myself.”

Deepika Padukone has been working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for quite some time now, she has done three films with the filmmaker, “Padmavati wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t been through the Leela experience or Mastani experience. All of those experiences have enabled me to do what I have done in this film.”

When asked about the politics she said, “Honestly, I don’t understand the politics of this, but I do know is that when you have done something right, you stand for what is right.”

Talking about her co-stars in the film Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor the actress said, “A lot of people advised them to not do the film, not just for the fact that they were both biting into the challenging roles in their own ways but also because it was named after the female protagonist.”
