On 19th November 1994, a magnificently beautiful young woman wearing the name ‘INIDA’ on her chest, won the Miss World crown and became the country’s pride. She later went on to become one of the most influential global faces of all time. Aishwarya Rai, is unquestionably, the most beautiful woman in the world. She has not only mesmerised the audience with her beauty and talent, but has won millions of hearts because of her contributions to the society. Today as she celebrates her birthday, let’s have a look at all those moments when she proved that she will hold the title forever.
1. At just 21, she made India proud. She represented India at the Miss World pageant and made us proud by winning the crown. At such a young age, she became a role model for millions of girls.
2. Global Icon, she was one of the first celebrities to be the face of Global Bands like L’oreal and work in Hollywood movies like ‘The Pink Panther 2’.
3. She has sizzled at the Cannes Film Festival for more than a decade now.
4. She is a UN Microedit spokesperson and has been a part of various charities like PETA and Smile Train.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of her Miss World Title which happened to be on the eve of her father’s 76th birthday (which is on November 20, 2014), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gifted 100 surgeries to children suffering from cleft through her foundation. Smile Train and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Foundation together worked closely to ensure a 100 more smiles through these surgeries. The other reason for celebrating this day include the third birthday of her daughter Aaradhya.
8. At the Miss World 2014 pageant, she was honoured as the Most Successful Miss World ever by Julia Morley, Chairwoman of the Miss World Organization.
