Here’s why Hina Khan quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Hina Khan is one of the most popular faces of Indian television. She has been portraying the character of ‘Akshara’, the lead role in the Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ for eight years now. However, recently, reports had started to surface that the actress has decided to call it quits.

The fans were hoping that these reports would just dissolve as false rumors. However, Hina opened up on this topic in a recent interview and confirmed the news. Talking about her decision, she said,

“Yes, I am quitting the show this month. With a heavy heart, my journey in Yeh Rishta has come to an end. Of course, I know people are emotionally attached but everything has a saturation point. I want to progress in my life. Many times I have said I am never going part of this show but Rajan Sir has taught me that never say never.”

Well that makes us wonder what would happen to her character Akshara. According to reports, her character will die after meeting with an accident. Post this, the show will focus on the life story of Naira (Akshara’s daughter). Some people are also speculating that Hina will enter the Bigg Boss house as a wild card entry. Karan Mehra and Rohan Mehra, who are also from the same show, are already contestants this season.

Hina will wrap up her shoot for the show by the end of this month. Post this she is planning on tying the knot with her boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal. The couple plans to take up projects under their production banner.
