Here’s why Radhika Apte won’t be available for ‘PadMan’s’ promotions

Actress Radhika Apte who is currently busy shooting for her next in Delhi, she won’t be in Mumbai while her film ‘PadMan’ will release. As ‘PadMan’ was supposed to release on January 25 earlier, but the date was shifted so that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmaavat’ will have a solo release on 25th. Now the movie will release today. Radhika Apte who plays Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film, will unfortunately not be able to join the cast today.


The actress has made a prior commitment and had allotted her dates for the month for February to shoot her upcoming film in Delhi, leaving her with no dates to accommodate. But she made sure to take some time out and was there at the press conference in Delhi at the last minute.


Radhika Apte said, “’PadMan’ is a very special film. It is unfortunate that the dates of shooting my other film and promotions of ‘PadMan’ clashed. It is for the first time that I have been away before a film release. However, I am trying to do as much as I can to promote the film even in my physical absence.”


‘PadMan’ stars Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor as well in lead roles.
