Here's why Ranveer Singh will never talk about his relationships in public

Ranveer Singh made his big Bollywood debut with 'Band Baaja Baaraat', and since then has never seen a low in his career. The actor has done roles that varied from boy-next-door in 'Band Baaja Baaraat' to playing Peshwa Bajirao in 'Bajirao Mastani'. Ranveer started his career in 2010, and today is one of the most loved actors in the industry. And though he may be most loved, to be an actor in Bollywood puts your life under public scrutiny.

Ranveer's alleged affair with Deepika Padukone has gained a lot of public attention. The two though never publically acknowledged their relationship, rumours about Ranveer-Deepika keep making rounds. The actor is apparently protective about his personal life. Talking about the same to IANS, Ranveer said, "The thing is I find that there is too much scrutiny anyway, and I don't want to encourage it or add to it. So, I am very protective about my personal life. I would like to protect a few aspects in my life."

The actor further added, "I am mostly open and honest, but there are some aspects that I choose to protect and I hope people respect my decision."

The actor who will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati' also spoke about his Bollywood journey. He said, "I genuinely believe that I am living a dream. Every day when I wake up, I can hardly believe that I am a mainstream actor who works in Hindi films. Working in mainstream Hindi films has been my dream ever since I was a little kid. My work has been appreciated and I have learnt from the highs and, more so, from the lows. I have become more of a well-rounded person thanks to my experience"
