Days after a blaze at Kamala Mills pub here killed 14 people on which actor Riteish Deshmukh told he is very proud of the Mumbai police for their outstanding work. As constable Sudarshan Sinde saved 8 people from the fire. The actor posted a picture of the constable on Twitter and thanked the police constable for his bravery.
A blaze in the Kamla Mills compound happened on December 29, 2017, killed 14 and injured another 55. The incident prompted the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to initiate a demolition drive against illegal constructions at hotels and pubs. After a massive fire gripped a rooftop pub in Kamala Mills complex late on Thursday, a Mumbai cop managed to pull as many as eight of over 200 people out of the flames.
