Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s much-awaited movie ‘Tubelight’ is all set to hit the theatres on 25th June. But it seems that the movie is taking longer to complete than the makers expected. While the movie is sticks to its release on Eid, its makers seem to have missed their meeting with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

A source from CBFC revealed, “The producers of ‘Tubelight’ had gotten into the queue for censor certificate before their film was ready thinking they’d be ready in time for the date when the CBFC would view the film. Unfortunately, it did not happen. They missed their appointment with the CBFC. Now, they will return when a fresh date is issued.”

The makers will now apply for a fresh date for censor certification. Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian War, ‘Tubelight’ also stars Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu and late actor Om Puri in significant roles.
