Hrithik: I have to call Zoya and say please cast me in your film

Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' released in 2011 and managed to garner not only critical but also commercial acclaim. The film, helmed by Zoya Akhtar, also starred Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
The film was much loved because of its storyline that defined love, friendship, relationships, and bromance like never before. It's already been five years post the film release, and we yet await a sequel for the same. However, it is not just the audience that awaits a sequel. The film's star cast has many a times expressed that they hope Zoya makes a sequel to 'ZNMD'.
Talking about the same to a popular daily, Hrithik too expressed his desire for a sequel to the film. He said, "I am aware of that, but not many filmmakers can make such movies. So, I have to call Zoya once more and say, ‘Please write something, and if you think I am good enough, please cast me in your film’. I guess I will have to beg her. But I think it (the sequel) will happen maybe three to four years from now."
