Hrithik on Raees-Kaabil clash: Business is business and friendship is friendship

Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' is to release on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees'. When the makers of 'Raees', through its theatrical trailer, announced that the film will be releasing on January 25 instead of January 26, the announcement caused a rift between SRK and Rakesh Roshan. Rakesh Roshan didn't appreciate that Shah Rukh preponed the date as 'Kaabil' too was slated to release on January 25. However, Hrithik has always maintained that he is unaffected by the clash. Recently at a press interaction, when Hrithik was asked about the clash, he said, "I don't believe in talking about what would have or should have happened. What can we do if the clash is happening? I can do best for my film and Ritesh and SRK will do best for their film."
Hrithik further added, "That's how it should be and we're in a business. Business is business and friendship is friendship. Both should be at their own place. Raees and 'Kaabil' can clash but friendship shouldn't ever clash. Ek understanding hai ki that every experience teaches you something at the end."
