Hugh Jackman wants Shah Rukh Khan to play 'Wolverine'

Hollywood actor, Hugh Jackman will be seen playing the iconic mutant Logan Lerman AKA 'Wolverine' for the last time in 'Logan'. While this is the last time that Hugh Jackman will be unleashing the deadly claws, the production house, Fox Studios, might not be ready to part ways with the character yet.

Addressing the possibility, Hugh Jackman in an interview with Rajeev Masand had a suggestion for his replacement.



The actor has played 'Wolverine' for 17 years and said, "I think I’ll be fine with it. I hope other people play it. Maybe Shah Rukh Khan could play it.The comic book series is so good because you have so many people interpreting this role. I think there are six origin stories. I’ll be really interested to see how I feel about it. I want it to be really great. But I don’t want it to be that much better than me. Just a little bit is fine. But if everyone is like ‘oh thank god..now,’ I might find that little difficult.”

Directed by James Mangold, 'Logan' is Hugh Jackman’s ninth and final Wolverine movie, and is due to release on March 3.
