I had sleepless nights when Amitabh Bachchan praised me, reveals Sidharth Malhotra

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is on cloud nine. Towards the end of last year, the actor performed to some foot tapping dance sequences of megastar Amitabh Bachchan's songs at an event. What made it perfect for Sidharth was that Amitabh who also happens to be Sidharth's childhood hero, was sitting right in the front row at the show, watching Sidharth's performance. “It was a wonderful feeling indeed,” smiled Sidharth. “When the event was organised, I didn’t have any dates for it. But I didn’t wish to miss the opportunity of performing on these exuberant dance numbers, that too in front of Amitabh, and got my dates adjusted,” he added.

He further said, “I also said a few words for him, and I saw him turn emotional; he was very touched. He spoke to me too later, and asked me how I remembered all those steps to the song in one go.” The actor also revealed that he was so thrilled by Amitabh's praises that he had sleepless nights thinking about them. "Some of my friends told me that Amitabh said that it’s good I wasn’t around during his time or I’d have grabbed his characters!
