Imtiaz Ali talks about his next 'The Ring'!

Imtiaz Ali's untitled next, popularly known as 'The Ring' is the story of a free-spirited Punjabi tourist played by Anushka Sharma, who falls in love with her guide aka Shah Rukh Khan while looking for her lost engagement ring across Europe with her guide.
In an interview with a media agency, Imtiaz Ali spoke about working Shah Rukh Khan. He said, "The reason why Shah Rukh and I are working is because both us wanted to do something which we were not doing really. For me, I didn't want to fall into a pattern of the certain type of film. And he (Shah Rukh) wanted to break out of the pattern that he was in. That's the reason why we got to work," added Ali."
When asked about the story and the feel of 'The Ring', Imtiaz said, "I am not really thinking of it that way(like Jab We Met or Rockstar). I am just thinking of this particular story and trying to make it in the best way possible, whether it turns out closer to Jab We Met or Rockstar, that I don't know."
